CREATIVE WOMEN COLLECTIVE
Content Management
Creative Women Collective is a community that connects creatives: online with themselves, offline with each other. After graduating at the University of Amsterdam, I dreamt of publishing my final thesis on "Female blackness through the sounds of music". CWC's founder gave me the chance to make a research series out of my thesis and transform it from an academic work to an accessible short story that was published every week. And so my story - and that of telling others - began...
MMOUSSE
Event Management
MMOUSSE a creative branding agency with two locations in Amsterdam. Their "canal house" and "church" are known for their soothing and relaxing atmosphere and are therefore described as "city oases". I'm hosting MMOUSSE events on a freelance basis for customers as Booking.com, Facebook and Uber.
GIRLS WHO MAGAZINE
Content Management
In the role of content editor, I'm writing articles for the online magazine: Girls Who a regular base. The magazine is focused on the young & vibrant woman in the city. My role within the team is the further deepening of the platform, in particular when it comes to (female) empowerment and entrepreneurship. My most recent project is the interview I did with Otegha Uwagba - author of Sunday Times Bestseller Little Black Book.
HOUSE OF NOTOIRE
Content Management
House of Notoire is a hub that brings women worldwide closer together. Through the travel stories they share online and the retreats they host offline; they aim to build a worldwide community of adventurous, curious and bold women and provide them a home that sparks creativity, conversation and inclusiveness. As a travel writer I'm writing about the theme women empowerment worldwide.
THE NEXT WOMEN
Project Management
With The Next Women Pitch Competition women invest in women; offering a podium to women-led startups. By making the right connections, knowledge and capital accessible, The Next Women helps making women-led startup companies a success. In my role of projectmanager I was responsible for the organization of the pitch competition in Paris, London and Amsterdam in collaboration with the Dutch Embassies, StartupAmsterdam and EY.
THE NEXT WOMEN
Communications Management
"Empowered women; empower everyone."
The Next Women the community for female entrepreneurs, professionals and investors. A network on the one hand; a crowd fund on the other enables us to have a unique position to bring these groups of ambitious women together. We do so by organizing a series of online (& offline) events and meetups. I'm responsible for all communications related to that.
SHE MATTERS
Communications Management
She Matters is a social enterprise recruitment agency with a mission to empower refugee and migrant women to build their social and economic capital, boost their self-confidence and become leaders in their homes, businesses and communities. I'm responsible for the coordination of all communications of She Matters to strengthen the resilient, mature and feminine look & feel the company wants to bream as a brand.
HUSTLE & HEART CONSULTANCY
Communications Management
Hustle & Heart Consultancy is a mindset, business and branding consultancy for starters, start-ups and scale-ups, with a focus on female entrepreneurs. In order to shine light on the "good things come to those who hustle" masterclass, I managed all social media channels with the main goal to sell out the event - which worked out pretty well. Aside from managing the channels, I created a distinctive feed to make H&H's channels coherent and outstanding.
We all move forward when
we recognize how resilient
and striking the women
around us are.
